Last month, I started with the board on the cabin back side and I wanted to finish the painting in October before the winter comes.

In order to paint it on both sides, I use lock screws or threaded rods to be able to rotate the part from one side to the other during painting.

It is coated with filler, now I let it dry and then grind with abrasive paper (1500 grid).

Finally the 2k color follows (Ford Balsam Green).

The steel straps were in bad condition and one was missing. I have made several attempts to bend new ones, but with bad results.

In order to get sharper corners, I finally decided to make them by welding.

My new straps are made of 5 single parts which are welded together.

First weld the bracket together, then grinding and the 2 small parts follow at the end.

The thread was in bad condition, so I closed it with welding.
