Since all parts are back from electroplating, I can start with the mounting.

First, it's the speedometer's turn. The satin nickel surface looks nice, you see no difference compared to the original lamp in the middle. The lamp is original and just polished a little bit.

Here you can clearly see the difference to a reproduction part in chrome finish. On the left hand side is my part in satin nickel, on the right the shiny chrome which looks a little bit too shiny in my opinion.

The newly-built door handles can be completed too.

Between the two nickel surfaces, I have inserted a spacer made of PET film.

For the black inserts I have used the housing of a CD. On the inside it's shiny, outside it has a dull surface. I used the glossy side like on the original handle. The material is not easy to cut - it shatters - but with the right tools I could make it.

Before the tank can be mounted on the base, I had to apply some anti squeak webbing. I used cloth electrical tape in different sizes.

I've tried in casting of tin. I wanted to make a key chain from my two company signs. First I have made a silicone mold and then pour the tin into it. As far as I have some time I will add more information here.
